ITS TIME

OH, Hi Guys...


So its about time to officially rechristen this mammoth boat. 
I was surprised that we managed to update this thing as many times as we have. But now that some of us are out of school, this shouldn't be a problem anymore! Wait...what are we doing here? Some people, like Timmy Wilgrims, believe that a successful blog has to have a precise thematic underpinning in order to be interesting to read. I was thinking about this on my bike ride home, and I wondered what could that theme be? Now that I'm not in school, I could really focus into a very specialized topic and be blog-famous, publish a cheap paperback, and go on tour! Suck it guys...writing is easy--especially in blogform. 


But the question remains, what could it be?





Bikes! Settlers of Scrabblegories discovers the bipedal mobile roller and purges the world of mysteries and mistruths of the bicycles during his 17 mile commute to work. 

Overheard Conversations about Expensive Jeans I will covertly befriend and become roommates with a gay man who really loves expensive denim. Then, I will post the subsequent ludicrous conversations about the blue pant below. 

Going the Distance, I will conduct a long-distance relationship with everyone I know via letters. I will post the letters on Scrabblegories and then see how long it takes for my letter recipients to tell me that they found this website. 

The Purple People, I will blog about my neighbors, the Amen's, a beautiful family who happen to wear only purple robes, drive in a purple mini-cooper, and live in a purple house. (No Joke)
Zooey? I will rate people on the street based on how closely they resemble Zooey Deschanel.

...WoW, these are all such great ideas. But I think I just thought of an idea that will break the current blog paradigm: 


THE FRIENDSHIP BLOG
Hi Guys, I am ret-conning Settlers of Scrabblegories as the worlds first friendship blog. It kinda knew all throughout its childhood that it was different, but it wasn't until its adolescence that Settlers really knew that it was unlike other blogs. Finally, it can come and tell everyone--it is only here to blog about things that friends care about. If not, we will one day become strangers! And Settlers will have to become a food blog.
