Howdy Folks.

If you're reading this, congratulations! You are literate. You're also on the World Famous SETTLERS OF SCRABBLEGORIES, a delightful addition to the already overstuffed blogodrome that we call home.

So here's the story-
Settlers of Scrabblegories was originally started as a way for us, the SETTLERS to exercise our failing wits and to share with you, the reader, the wonders of the world, be they analog or digital.

But we failed. We failed so hard! We fired off a smattering of posts and then got stressed out by work and school and what have you and let our lovely isle of SCRABBLEGORIES fall at incredible speed to the wayside. It was a damn fool thing, but we're giving it another shot. We're busting our spine against it, losing our nose to the grindstone and by golly, making SETTLERS OF SCRABBLEGORIES an honest to goodness place to go read stuff that will brighten your day and set your brain-gears a-runnin'.

Coming up this week you'll see a veritable slew of posts introducing you to our starter set of bloggers, their interests and intent for SCRABBLEGORIES, in addition to our usual mixed-bag of subjects, music, art, literature, politics, internetery, nerdery- eclectic is our middle name. As is Susan, but don't tell anyone.
